hmmm operating overloading with scala is…interesting. This may require some toying with after this chapter. =P What kind of trickery should I attempt? Anyone? hmm?
Wow…a sleepless night….
So it’s 2am and I find myself installing rails on my netbook….again. I’m not even supposed to be touching it as i’ve been putting time into understanding Java and Scala. I will say Scala has the best syntax i’ve run across to date. I think I can get the hang of functional programming. I’ll have to give it a few more weeks and tackle a small project or two but it seems like something i’ll be sticking with long term. Hmm, at the same time…I feel I know enough of rails to not have it steal too much time away from my Java/Scala studies…i just feel I should dive deeper into web development, maybe I’ll start doing some small projects for clients. Who knows what that may bring about…
